Face to Face Spa is committed to making medical-grade skincare usable by everyone. This page details the accessibility standards of our website and our spa facilities, and how to request accommodations.
Website standard — WCAG 2.1 Level AA
facetofacespa.com is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Specific measures include:
- Semantic HTML with clear heading hierarchy and landmarks (
<nav>,<main>,<footer>). - Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- Keyboard navigation throughout — all interactive elements reachable via Tab, actionable via Enter or Space.
- Visible focus indicators using a 2px outline at 3:1 minimum contrast.
- ARIA roles, labels, and live regions where semantic HTML isn't sufficient (dialogs, expand/collapse panels, search results).
- Color contrast meets WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- Text is resizable to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Reduced motion respected via
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — animations disable automatically. - All informative images have alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- Forms have explicit labels and error messaging.

All Face to Face Spa locations are committed to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standard:
- Step-free entry and wheelchair-accessible treatment rooms at all 41 locations.
- Accessible restroom at every location.
- Hearing-loop-friendly consultations available on request.
- Large-print intake forms available on request.
- Service animals welcome.
Requesting an accommodation

Third-party tools
Our scheduling partner Zenoti and financing partner Cherry each maintain their own accessibility standards. We partner with vendors whose accessibility commitments match ours.
Ongoing testing
We review the site against WCAG 2.1 AA on every major change. Automated testing uses axe-core; manual testing uses screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and keyboard-only navigation. Report issues any time — we treat them as priority bugs.
